“Good evening to everyone.

First I would introduce myself, I am Jane. Sarah, the bride, is my best friend. First of all I would like to thank my friend Sarah for asking me to be the Maid Of Honor in her wedding. I feel very happy to be a part of this marriage. I have known Sarah since child hood and we have been good friends since then and I have known the bridegroom James for the past two years.

The first thing that comes to mind while thinking of the couple is the first time that they met. It was in a party given by a common friend. I always knew that they would make a great pair because of their complimentary life styles and personality. Sarah was a pessimistic person and was a very studious type of a person while James was an eternal optimist and a laid back type of a character.

Then one fine day James got the courage to ask her out and took her to a water sport park in our city. He then surprised her by taking her to a museum and showed her some of the artifacts that belonged to her forefathers. She was so shocked and never felt so special in her life. The effort James made really touched her. I was very happy for her when she said she had decided to marry James. I told her that it was destined to happen and I knew it right from their first meeting.

The only request that I have to James is to make sure that Sarah is happy throughout your married life and I am sure that Sarah would take care of you by providing you with the fullest of her love throughout her life.

Before I go on any further, I would like to take this opportunity to thank James for tolerating our pranks and long conversations on the phone every night.
